Tue, 28 November 2006 It's the first time in a long time that I've published two podcasts within one week! I'm quite proud of myself. Anyway. This week I discovered the music at IODA Promonet. They supposedly have this really great code generator to help with the show notes, but I can't find it anywhere. Therefore, the usual format: 1. "Thing For Me" by Panoramic Blue. From Sessions. Website and MySpace. 2. "Ransom" by Haley Bonar. From Lure the Fox. Website and MySpace. Ah, this was such a great song. 3. "Darkest Days" by Good Riddance. From My Republic. Their website is not working at the moment. Perhaps by the time you read this it will be. 4. "Tried to Be Lonely" by The Shames. They have a website. This song is also really great. Similar to the Strokes but less screamy ;-) Please check out their websites. If you have a second, visit my podcast page as well. Leave me some comments, send me an email, suggest me some music. Also, please tell your friends about the show. You can also help out by voting for the show at Podcast Alley. Comments[0] |

Tue, 17 October 2006 A late but exciting episode! I won't go into the details of why this episode has been delayed for five days. Let's just say I had technical problems and then I was whisked away to the New York City area for two days. Anyway, the show features two special guests, Nina and Lauren, also known as The Moaning Myrtles. We talk about wizard rock, friends, and life. I also play another 6 fantastic songs. 1. Cool Water by Katy Wehr. From the album "The Smell of Rain." 2. "And Then I Died" by The Moaning Myrtles. From the Port-A-Potty EP. Special guests! The show features about 20 minutes of questions and answers with the girls. 3. "Papercut Skin" by The Matches. From Decomposer. 4. "Always My Fault" by Korben. From the album Steady Fools. 5. "Broken Hearted" by Stavia. From Deep Waters. 6. "Strictly Ballroom" by Dead Smiling Pirates. They're just setting up their MySpace page. Add 'em to your friends list, because they are incredible. As always, thanks for listening. Check out the show's website for information on submitting and suggesting music or sending me messages. Till next time, Liz Comments[0] |
Tue, 3 October 2006 After a series of technical difficulties, the fifth podcast is finally online! Now for some quick show notes. 1. "Ages" by Peter Toh. On MySpace or his Website. 2. "Forbidden" by Anna Lee. Website or MySpace. 3. "Geared For Action," Jet Lag Gemini. Visit their Website or MySpace. 4. "Another Day" by the amazing Makar. More music on their MySpace. Also, visit their Website. 5. "Epiphany," Thousand Yard Stare. Check their MySpace for tour dates. Stop by their Site, too. 6. "Alexia" by Manila Reign. Visit their MySpace for more music. They also have a Website. I believe that the reason I was having difficulty is that my lame.dll file is corrupt. Hopefully after replacing it the next episode will convert to MP3 format correctly. I hope you enjoy the show. Stop by the Show's Website and leave a few comments. You can also send me an email about the show to gingerbohemian@yahoo.com Thanks for listening! Comments[0] |
